2017-2018 PORTFOLIO //
![]() Basic Shape AnimalThis was made only by morphing some basic shapes, such as circles, rectangles, and triangles. A dog named Apollo has been found by a friendly alien after he wandered deep in space. This was my first time using Adobe Illustrator and I learned many basic skills. | ![]() Self PortraitMy self portrait actually turned out a lot better than I thought it would! I learned more about shading and the pen tool, which is very useful to make irregular shapes. My favorite part is the detail in the jacket. | ![]() Graphic LogosFor these logos, I took pars of my personality and mashed them up into different variations of logos. Another person also put in their input and made the surprise logos. Ultimately, I chose surfing and music combined together. |

![]() Typographic LogoThis assignment really made me think out of the box because the logos that came before this one were based off of ones in a book. It was fun to see all of the different ways I could morph the logo. | ![]() Logo TypeIn this project, I combined the two logos from the graphic logo and typographic logo and combined them in different ways. It was difficult to come up with 10 different variations but I think they turned out well. | ![]() Type AdI really liked this project because I never knew how these types of pictures were made. It was interesting to morph the words into an object and it turned out pretty well. It definitely looks like the original picture (light bulb). |
![]() Westview Planner CoverThis project was really cool because it has a real world application and if chosen, many people will see it. We also worked in partnerships for this project, so both of us could throw out ideas and try to combine them. I really like the design, including the wolverine claw that was an impromptu but necessary addition. | ![]() Horror Movie PosterThis project was the final for Quarter Four and we had to make a poster for a horror movie. This sci-fi horror movie would be about a distant race of aliens who come to Earth and abduct people and test on them, eventually killing them. I used the same process as the self portrait to create the alien. | ![]() ADLIB ProjectThis project brought us into the basics of Adobe Photoshop. We had to take a random story and make a picture out of it. It looks a little random but it worked for the story. |
![]() Packaging FlatI liked creating packaging for our Pringles Super Table because of the use of different images and text in order to try to attract a buyer. It had many steps, the first of which was creating the Super Table Logo, and then creating a Photoshop document about the table and how it works. | ![]() 3D PackagingFor the 3D image, we had to refit all of the parts of the flat packaging into warped spaces. It showed us how to use the warp and perspective tools. | ![]() Personal TypefaceThe personal typeface didn't turn out as good as I thought it would. Making each and every letter gets kind of repetitive. |
![]() Group T ShirtThis shirt incorporated designs from each person's personal t-shirt in our four person group. The most prominent comparison to an existing t-shirt is of the computer in a circle and rainbow design, that looks like a NASA shirt. | ![]() Jewel Case OutsideRoots Reggae's Share The Love by Jason Dillon and Aiden O'Donnell was a big hit, so we made art for their CD cover! We used Photoshop to make a booklet, CD, and song list. | ![]() Jewel Case InsideOn the inside of the CD case, we had to make a booklet and a place for the CD to rest. Our bios are excellently written and definitely 100% true. |
